The first patent application for a game was filed as an international patent application. Corresponding patent applications were then filed in many countries, where they have been published in the local languages. All have since been abandoned.
A continuation-in-part application was filed in the US with additional drawings and description. By this time it was known that the system was controlled by the six ways in which four different objects can be ordered, but the much deeper connection with counting based on a new principle different from balance and equations had not been recognised. Each object is defined by a relationship between what it is and what it is not and each step of counting according to this new principle changes the order of the objects.
